What are the chances of a tongue piercing getting infected?

im 14 and i am possibly getting my tongue pierced this summer. what are the chances of it getting infected? i have my belly button pierced and i take care of it (clean it every day). ive heard that some people die from getting there tongue pierced, but mostly from infection and that can happen with any piercing……still, if i take good crare of it and clean it like im supposed to, how likely is it that it will get infected?

How long will lymph come out of my tongue piercing?

I got my tongue pierced 2.5 weeks ago and i just started to get ‘lymph’ coming out. I’ve read where i should have gotten it like 3-4 days after having it pierced but i’m just beginning to get it. I hope its lymph, but it looks a lil yellowish to me. Is this normal? There is no pain and very minimal swelling. I was jus wondering how long does lymph comes out of the tongue piercing and if this is something to be concerned about?
