For the past six months the stud I changed it out to got stuck (it was one of those rings with the straight bar and little ball at the end) So, just today I came up with the idea to get finger nail clippers and clip the stud out. It worked. I don’t have any more studs, so how long do I have to get a new one before the piercing closes up?

Cuz I’m in a volunteer program at my local hospital and they told me I either have to cover it with a band aid -_- or I have to take it out.

I was wondering if it would close up in the time that I’m volunteering? It’s 3 hrs once a week.

Would a nose piercing close in 3 hrs? does anyone know?
oh, and idk if it makes a difference, but it seems that things tend to close up on me a bit fast, the cartilage piercing in my ear was there for about a year and closed after a couple months.

And my normal ear piercings took a while before I could leave studs out of em, but now I haven’t had anything in em for at least 3 months, lol, and they’re still open…

But I just noticed tonight that the hole mightve gotten bigger because now the stud is sitting flat, it feels like the stud is sinking or something. Will the tissue tighten up around the piercing or will the hole continue to grow? Can you’re stud actually sink through the hole?
