They’re the corkscrew kind, but I’ve only used L-shaped before, and its gotten yanked out, but it doesn’t hurt that much and doesn’t cause damage. Is this the same with the corkscrew kind? If you’ve had a corkscrew nose piercing do you recommend it? Have you had good experience with them?

What metal is safest for a nose piercing, and what can I do to stop it getting infected?

I really want my nose done, and eventually put a ring in it – but dont know whats the best type of metal (preferably non allergic) to start with.
Also, how do i make sure it does not get infected? Is there any changes that occur with my new piercing that is natural, and i needn’t worry? Thank you
