Hi
I have had the standard ear piercing for about 6 years with no problems or infections. I was thinking about getting another piercing in my ear lobe right next to my other piercing so I could wear 2 earrings at once. Is this safe? I don’t want to do something that will cause an infection. I wanted to have it done at Wal-mart like last time as it’s free with an earring purchase. Thanks!

I got my second ear piercing 4 months ago and now it is getting infected. Then i made a mistake of taking my earring out, but then i read that you should not take the infecting earring out so i put the earring back in. What should i do now to treat my ear?

How can I stop my ear piercing from getting infected all the time?

I have had a piercing in between my cartilage and ear lobe for about 6-7 years now. About 2 years ago, right above the earring (not the actual hole) started swelling and getting infected. Ever since then, it swells up, gets infected, bleeds, heals, and then swells up again. No matter what I do, after the healing, it gets infected again. What the hell is going on?! How can I stop this?

I’ve had my ears pierced for a few years, but on one ear, my earring has been slowly ripping the piercing, so that it’s a lot bigger than it was when I first got it. Is there anything I can do to help it heal before it rips all the way through my ear?
