How do I pull out a cartilage (ear) piercing that is so very painful to the touch?

I have piercing in the cartilage of my ear. I had it pierced early last year and it still hurts. Is this unusual for a piercing to still hurt even after so much time has gone by? I want to pull it out so bad, but the pain is awful.

How does the pain of getting a tragus piercing compared to that of a nose or cartilage ear piercing?

How bad does a tongue and nose piercing hurt?

How long does it take for a nose piercing to fully heal?

I’ve pierced my nose 7 months ago. I take it out in the shower and when I clean my face. If I don’t have a nose ring in for at least 30 minutes, I find myself having to force it in… which really hurts, and sometimes it bleeds. How long does it fully heal?

Same question for my cartilage piercing as well. I pierced it around the same time, and it’s been REALLY PAINFUL. I do clean it though.

Why does my cartilage ear piercing have a bump on the back of the hole?

I just recently got 3 cartilage ear piercings last month. Now I took them off to see how the healing is doing but there is a bump on each one on the back. Why is that?

I also have another cartilage piercing from 2 years ago and I also have a bump on the back of the whole as well and it’s still there. Why is this? Will it ever go away?
