Is it safe to use coconut oil to help heal a nose piercing?

jenny asked:

Hi
I just got my nose pierced (nostril, not septum) about a week ago and have been applying saline solution and coconut oil to the piercing to clean and heal it. Is this a good method of cleaning or should I be using something else?

Thanks
Alcohol and hydrogen peroxide both ruin new skin that is being created to heal the wound, so that’s not the best way to go.

For you put number of different products on your piercing is carried out by what you put on the less.
For you put number of different products on the piercing is going to help it could become irritated the less you put number of piercing it heal keeping it clean fights off bacteria and in turn infection but no product can heal keeping it technically nothing you put.
