How do i get rid of a new ear piercing infection?

I got my second ear piercing on august 2nd (3 days ago) and i think i have a infection on my left ear. My left ear still hurt and still is red. But my right doesn’t hurt and at my normal skin tone. How do I know if I have a infection and how do i treat it? Can i put rubbing alcohol on it?

HELP please im getting scared.
Ohh and can i go swimming?

    Dont ever use alcohol on a piercing! What u need to do is a sea salt soak. Add sea salt (not table salt) to warm water and soak your ear in it.

    NEVER put alcohol on it!!!!
    get some antiseptic from claire’s
    and also you can use salt water :)
